  Gary Polson

Gary is our researcher. He has extensive research experience at a fortune 500 firm, masters degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Physical Education from Oklahoma State University, holds two patents, is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is a certified service provider for the Oklahoma Technology and Commercialization Center and also assists the IAS (Oklahoma Invention Assistance Service) at Oklahoma State University.

  Lora Polson
Lora provides office support and tries to keep us on schedule. She has a bachelors degree in Human Environmental Sciences from Oklahoma State University and is active in music, gardening, crafts and community volunteer work.

  Our Tools
We have our own extensive research library, many online research tools. databases and hundreds of contacts around the world. We have local access to two major university libraries (Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma), one large metropolitan library (Tulsa City County Library), a Federal Depository library (Oklahoma State University), a Patent Library (Oklahoma State Patent and Trademark Library), a medical library (Oklahoma State Veterinary  Medicine Library), one of the largest law libraries in the southwest (University of Oklahoma Law Library) and several special collections.

Marine Industry Tools
Gary was an R&D engineer at MerCruiser for 6 years and has since worked on many projects in the marine industry. We have an extensive collection of marine drive, recreational boating, fast ferry, maritime and passenger vessel market and technical information plus we continuously monitor developing technologies in these areas.

Virtual Pets
We have a strong presence in the virtual pet industry. Polson Enterprises was instrumental in the keychain virtual pet explosion and has followed it along to PC based pets, CD rom pets, online pets, virtual pet game cartridges, board games, vp playing cards, robotic pets and wireless pets for mobile phones. We provide technical, market and patent information support, identify potential partners, review pet designs, maintain a comprehensive library of virtual pet materials, hardware and software, operate a major virtual pet web site and keep a close watch on the pulse of the industry. We have been working with virtual pets since mid 1996 and assist in the development of virtual pets in all formats.
