- Pac Brian Industrial Divers - Baton Rouge company supplying divers to patch the ship
- Cooper/T Smith Corp stevedoring firm, tried to remove the corn from forward #1 hold after the crash
- Crescent Towing - Algiers based, owns 26 tugs, at one time had 6 on the scene.
- USFDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) - took grain samples to test for contamination
- Un-named New Orleans based repair firm - was caught removing damaged lube pump after crash
- Bolard Marine in Violet - Bright Field taken / towed there for repairs after crash
