Starter Decks

The original two starter Decks, Kaiba and Yugi are now on their third generation. Some people favor one over the other. They feature newly evolved monsters and strategies from Yugi and Kaiba's original decs. These powerful new cards will enhance even the most formidable of decks. These factory-sealed Yu-Gi-Oh Evolution Decks include 50 cards one half of the cards are from popular booster cards and the other half of the Yugi or Kaiba Deck depending on the deck you choose. Each Evolution Deck features 3 new cards unique to each deck.

If you have a couple kids, you might order two starter decks as it takes a 40 card deck for each kid to play. Those more "gung-ho" might purchase both starter decks because you can sort through them to create a better playing deck.

These decks are great for teaching people how to play the game, before adding in more complex cards.

Game Console Games

Game Boys' The Eternal Duelist Soul is more of a trading card game, while Play Station's Forbidden Memories is more of a role playing game. As we mentioned in the Parents Guide to Yu-Gi-Oh, you might try renting these games once at your local video store before you purchase them to get a better feel for them. But if you decide to purchase them, please do it through our store.
